Description
Denver's version of the classic holiday markets held in Germany. A festive, family-friendly event featuring live entertainment, food, drink, gifts, and more!
Event Details
The Denver Chriskindl Market is Denver's take on the 700 year old tradition of the original Christkindl markets that originated in Germany.
Now in its 11th year, the Christkindl Market is not only a great place to grab some holiday gifts, but really see what the holiday season is about in Downtown Denver.
This traditional market features vendors from Germany and other European countries, as well as local artisans selling handcrafted gift items like traditional hand-carved wooden figurines, handmade candles, ornaments and more.
Many food vendors will be serving traditional German food including bratwurst, potato pancakes, goulash and apple strudel, and warm Glühwein (spiced mulled wine) with a backdrop of traditional Christmas carolers and other live entertainment.
The Christkindl Market is free to attend and is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday through Saturday.
