We were blessed to have been part of such a loving community in spite of the disaster that they
had all been through. In our good-bye time at The River Church, Mary Jo said that while many in
the town had expressed their heartfelt thanks to us and what we had helped them with, we too
were very grateful to all who had opened up their homes, their lives and their hearts to us while we
were in Lyons and the surrounding areas. It was really hard to leave and we do miss all of our new
family.
