Turning old into something new
I have always had a t-shirt addiction since I was a kid. At every vacation, dance competition, or concert I had to get a shirt to remember that moment. These have added up over the years. Some don't fit right, some have stains or are an ugly color. I thought that I could make cool themed quilts out of my collection, but then nobody would see it! I came up with the idea of making skirts using my shirts to display these fun memories. I soon decided it would be awesome if my kids could wear my unworn shirts. I started making them upcycled shirts and dresses that were unique and one of a kind. Now I can feed my t-shirt addiction while making custom and unique clothing!
