Description
Douglas County Canine Rescue was founded in 2014 by Jaime Hurd and Rebecca Waldrop. Both gals are completely passionate about saving dogs. Jaime and Rebecca are both furmamas to several fuzzy children. In 2014 they decided to take their dedication to saving animals a step further by starting their own rescue, DCCR. DCCR is a no kill 501c3 animal rescue specializing in dogs. Pulling and rescuing dogs from kill shelters is a job they are both totally passionate about and thankful they get to do!
DCCR as we like to call our organization is about one thing, helping dogs in need! Douglas County Canine Rescue, is a 501 c3 non- profit, no kill, animal rescue. Our mission is to rescue abandoned animals, spay, neuter and provide medical care, and then put them with foster homes until we get them adopted into the loving homes that they need and deserve! Douglas County Canine Rescue does not have a facility. We rely solely on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers who open their hearts to help us take care of the animal orphans that desperately need help.
