Whether you are looking to create your own special event, reunion, class field trip or retreat, or you are interested in joining one of our popular family events throughout the year, Camp Shady Brook has something for everyone.

Nestled in the mountains near Deckers, CO, Camp Shady Brook has been serving campers of all ages since 1948. As the premier conference and retreat destination in the area, groups from all over the country have hosted memorable events at our beautiful upgraded facility year after year.

Perhaps our most exciting time of year is during our summer camp season, where campers aged 6-17 can choose from a variety of activities to keep them busy during their summer break. Choices include traditional camp stuff like archery and rifelry on our target sports range, swimming and canoeing on our spring-fed lake, or climbing and swinging up in the air on one of our challenge course elements like the zipline.

Our programming is designed to help build friendships, inspire self-confidence, and encourage positive decision making. Whether you're interested in teambuilding, family bonding, high adventure, nature or leadership skills, Camp Shady Brook has a program for you!

We pride ourselves on hiring mature and skilled staff to facilitate a wonderful camping experience as our guest. Throughout the year, we also have many wonderful family events like family camp, Easter programming, Women's Retreat and much, much more!
