Description
The building, in which the Inn is located, is a historic 1891 sandstone mansion built in the French Chateauesque style architecture and is one of Denver's finest examples of this style. It is situated on Quality Hill in the historic neighborhood of Capital Hill, one of Denver's original high-end neighborhoods. The mansion is a Denver and National Landmark and has been given historic designation from the Landmark Preservation Commission, Colorado State Register of Historic Properties and the National Register of Historic Places. The mansion is within blocks of the State of Colorado Capital building, the Colorado National History Museum, Denver Art Museum, the 16th Street mall and many other area attractions.
The interior, with the house's original woodwork and stain glass, is accented by features such as original pocket doors, a hand carved oak stairway, exquisite crown moldings, trim and hardwood floors. The house is 14,000 sq feet offering 9 luxury suites and guest common areas but, guests are also able to enjoy the outdoors. With our wrap around front porch, secluded courtyard, or possibly a deck adjoining their suite, the relaxation can continue both inside and out.
