Description
The end of prohibition in 1933 ushered in a golden age of swank bars and lounges. Inspired by iconic rooms such as The Stork Club, the Starlight Room and The Clover Club, The Cooper Lounge evokes the glamour, style and sophistication of the era. This was also the golden age of the "cocktail” and The Cooper's highly skilled bartenders pay homage to this with a collection of impeccably prepared classic libations.
Located on the mezzanine overlooking The Great Hall and featuring huge arched windows that provide spectacular views down 17th Street, The Cooper Lounge provides an elegant, intimate setting for cocktails in beautiful glassware and distinctive menu items including Steak Tartare, Duck & Prosciutto Terrine and Cheese & Salumi courtesy of Chef Nikki Olst, The Cooper Lounge provides THE cocktail experience you and your guests are seeking. Hours are 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. Reservations are highly recommended.
