Permanently Closed.. At the Vault, our experienced bartenders are talented mixologists, but have not forgotten the classic cocktails of yesteryear – Manhattans, Sidecars, Moscow Mules, and time-honored American Whiskey.
In 2007, during renovations in the basement, an old well or cistern from the original 1860's saloon was discovered. Although the well had been filled in for over 100 years, 19th century bottles of Ginger Ale were uncovered which led to the Blake Street Vault's signature cocktail, the Moscow Mule. Some of these bottles and glass fragments are on display in the basement of the Vault.
Although the Moscow Mule was first created in 1941 to help introduce the U.S. to Russian Vodka, there was a resurgence in popularity in recent years, and the Vault added a number of specialty Mules to their original. See the Blake Street Vault Mule Menu
The Vault also has one of the largest selections of Colorado made Whiskey. See our Colorado Whiskey Selections
