Capitol Hill United Neighborhoods

Who we are at the foundation of all CHUN does is the notion of civic participation - that we become a healthier, more vibrant community through the active involvement of the people who comprise our neighborhoods and strengthen our ability to work together toward common goals.

CHUN is:
•A neighborhood organization representing Capitol Hill for more than 31 years. Our boundaries are 1st to 22nd Avenues to the north and south, and from Broadway to Colorado Boulevard to the east and west.

•A registered neighborhood association acting democratically to involve all who care and will participate to improve the quality of life in greater Capitol Hill.

•Your neighborhood advocate representing your interests before City Council, State Legislature and administrative agencies.

•Community members volunteering to protect, preserve and enhance the quality of life within CHUN's boundaries.

•A forum for discussing neighborhood issues, including licensing, historic preservation, crime prevention, environmental concerns, neighborhood beautification, street maintenance, education and traffic control.
