In 1968 prohibition was abolished in the city of Boulder. Nine months earlier, Tom Lacey a CU graduate from Longmont, Colorado sensed the inevitable and took over the lease at an old Safeway at 1712 Pearl Street. Tom Lacey was the first person in Boulder to apply for a Liquor license and opened the first retail liquor store within the city limits of Boulder. We've been proudly serving boulder ever since.
