Live music by Will Evans with River Mann Presented by Conscious Roots at The Velvet Elk Lounge on September 20th
Event Details
Join us for a memorable night of connection and community with the uplifting, thoughtful and joyous music of multi-talented artist Will Evans on FRIDAY, September 20th at the Velvet Elk Lounge in Boulder! Be a part of this special night immersed within Will's nuanced artistry. Our bodies will move and our spirits will soar!
Will Evans pulls everyone into his embrace. He musically accesses a space without boundaries where all are welcome to commune openly and move freely. Through quotable folk-inspired lyrics, breezy grooves, and roots energy, it’s as if he’s giving you permission to be that pure self you can’t always be at work or even at home. Evans' songs speak to the importance of connecting with—and protecting–the earth. At a time when so many are looking for words of inspiration and reassurance, his songs deliver messages of family, love, hope, and inclusion. The Rhode Island-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist puts his words into action via his “Kind Folk” fan community, activating small acts of kindness, charity, and goodwill in tandem with performances nationwide. By rotating between acoustic guitar, didgeridoo, handpan, percussive beatboxing, and more, he has developed a living and breathing signature sound of his own. Between selling out shows across the U.S. and Europe, he has graced bills alongside Crosby & Nash, Grace Potter, Bruce Hornsby, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Trevor Hall, and Railroad Earth.
Bar opens at 5 PM and happy hour from open to 7 PM. (21+) The Velvet Elk Lounge does not allow minors - No Exceptions.
