Description
My name is Lhakpa Sherpa, and I would like to welcome you to Sherpa House Restaurant and Cultural Center. My family and I are delighted to present our authentic Himalayan cuisine and traditional Sherpa culture to you. Our interior decor is an authentic representation of a typical Sherpa house in the Solu-Khumbu region of Nepal. Artifacts have been placed in traditional locations in the household, consisting of a family living room with kitchen, a shrine room and a gallery room. Sherpas in the Himalaya have been living in these types of households for centuries.

Their legendary mountaineering prowess and their hardiness initially brought them into prominence in mountaineering circles. Sherpa climber Tenzing Norga
